Since 2014 Oxford XXI is a partner organisation to the University of Luxembourg, a founder organisation with the Miami University Ohio John E. Dolibois European Centre (MUDEC), USA of the Trans-Atlantic dialogue, which was founded in 2008.
Lyudmila Nurse is a member of the Steering Committee of the forthcoming 4th Trans-Atlantic Dialogue Conference: “Creating Human Bonds … through Cultural Diplomacy”, which will take place on 24-26 May 2017 at the University of Luxembourg Belval Campus, Esch –sur-Alzette and Nuemunster Abbey.
Lyudmila Nurse is a coordinator of the European Cultural Parliament (ECP) Symposium within the Framework of the TAD: “The Growing Role for European Art and Artists in Cultural Diplomacy and the Strengthening of Trans-Atlantic Cultural Bonds”.

The 2014 Transatlantic dialogue conference in Luxembourg addressed key questions about the value of embedding culture into higher education curricula. The conference examined the critical role of culture/broad education for developing students and teachers who aim to reflect their respect and recognition of cultural diversity and heritage in their research and practices.
The dialogue on the significance of culture for fostering global citizenship, came in the context of wavering support for the value of a liberal education in both the US and Europe.
